Chart Return for Nikki S
Submitted 29-Nov-05 (5736 views)
Hi boys & girls,

It’s been a while since my last chart (Ops!) but here’s what’s really flicking my switch and what’s been rocking the dance floors for the past few weeks.

I’ve uploaded some sound clips, they’re about 1MB so should only take about 10 seconds to download and play in your default MP3 player.

Chart Date: October / November 05

1. Chaos to Order - Joti Sidhu (Neurobiotic Records)
Filthy, filthy, banging hard dance – psy trance hybrid. I Love it!!

2. My Life - BK & Nick Sentience (Riot!)
The sexiest tune of 2005?? I think so. The bass line is fat, dirty & sexy … it’s got big synth stabs, hands in the air moments and a catchy vocal. If you haven’t got it you can get it from for only £1.50 … how good is the digital revolution??!!??

3. Insomnia - Faithless (Bootleg)
A very cool psy-trance influenced bootleg of Insomnia that is doing serious damage in the clubs!

4. Computech - PsyCraft (Hommega)
All class driving tech trance. It’s got a thundering bassline, big synths & big stabs. I’ve been playing this tune since May and I still can’t get enough of it. Have a listen and see why!

5. Come In Peace - PsySex (Illumination Rmx) (Hommega)
Think ‘Ride the Groove’ meets Tinrib and you’ll get a very cheeky piece of electronic techno crossed with super euphoric riffs. Again check it out and have a listen.

6. Damager - Scott Mac (Mac Zimms Rmx)
One of the biggest tunes this summer! Every one from Marco V, Tiesto, Nick Sentience … and me … (ha ha Laughs out loud) … was playing it. It’s big room sexy tech trance and gives me goose bumps every time.

7. Mind Control - Nick Sentience & John Askew (Discover Promo)
A chunky slab of dark, moody tech trance.

8. Flip The Script - X-Noize Rmx
High impact superbly produced psy-trance meets hard dance from this Israeli duo. I’ve dropped it at the last 2 Innovates and it’s gone down a treat.

9. New Sensations - Joti Sidhu (Neurobiotic Records)
To me this track is futuristic hard dance. It’s fun, funky, got a pumping groove and uplifting riff … (very Tinrib sounding.)

10. Adrenalin Rush - Xerox & Psycraft
Very groovy, high energy, pumping hard dance / psy-trance hybrid, with big synths, fat distorted sounds, cleaver use of synths instead of percussion, it’s got a bit of a Base Graffiti feel to it. Bring it on!
