Yeah, I mean the groups are not just out and about to and messaging people for the fun of it. These people are lead on for weeks and then finally caught.

Donnie saying 1 false accusation could ruin someones life is a bit bent tbh

It's the same as the police and any court could give false accusations.

And these guys have caught 44% of the pedos that are currently in jail, like u say. Why would any normal person be against it

Totally agree dude.

I've seen loads of these videos but I'm against them really.

One false accusation could ruin somebody's life.

And boom!

Southampton 'paedophile hunter' guilty of false claim

Quote:
A self-styled "paedophile hunter", whose videos have been watched millions of times by Facebook users, has been convicted of falsely accusing a man of grooming teenagers.

Stephen Dure, 34, also known as Stevie Trap, pleaded guilty to making an improper communication online.

His wrongly-accused victim said he had been sacked and his home had been attacked as a result.

Mr Dure, from Southampton, will be sentenced on Monday.

I wonder what the details were.
Did Dure use his position as paedophile hunter for some personal vendetta or was this a case of not following procedure.

If the former than that is one of the scummiest things he could do to a person. If the latter than he has potentially endangered any future prosecution against the defendant, which is always the problem with such vigilante action.

I've got chickens in my back yard
