Sandra Collins & Micke

» Four

Reviewed by Pete M / Submitted 15-11-18 13:11

Label: Perfecto Black
Format: Digital
Genre: Progressive

US legend Sandra Collins teams up with fellow American Micke for this proggy house epic on Perfecto's Black imprint. The result is a 9 minute odyssey that sounds like it was tailor-made for labels such as Pure Progressive.

As its a prog release, there's a somewhat dark and broody atmosphere which is present throughout; also a sorta trancey feel. It also has an eerie ambient intro which is perfectly suited for an album opener or a DJ set. Its not particularly tough but it is melodic and has a distinctly relaxed feel, very different from the usual Perfecto fare but is perfectly suited to the Black empire.
