More: Global electronic label, Om Records, are proud to announce our first major event in London in association with no.1 music download site – DJdownload.com. Joining forces with Freerange Records, we’ve created a show-stopping line-up with an emphasis on top quality music on the excellent Funktion One system within the intimate confines of the Corsica Studios warehouse space!

Fresh from our massive WMC event, Om is back in London and ready to rock and, after months of planning, we can now announce a night of house music in all shapes and sizes with our first ‘Friends & Family’ party! Taking place on Saturday 24th May, ‘Friends & Family’ showcases the growing roster of European artists on the label alongside some of our favourite DJs and the Om extended family.

Blending house and techno in the main room, Om’s choice of DJ’s brings together three of the most exciting names on the scene! Headlining for Om, we’ve chosen one of the most forward thinking DJ/producers, PAUL WOOLFORD, whose recent album under the alias Bobby Peru was acclaimed from the broadsheets to the dance press for it’s originality and energy.

Topping the bill for Om is the one and only MIKE MONDAY – our ambassador of sonic excellence on the UK shores! In Mike’s world of wibbly wobbly fun, futuristic sounds are combined with a true party vibe which is why it’s no surprise that Laurent Garnier said ‘mister monday has been the maaan for years and he is still ruling the floor’. Also on the night we will be launching Mike’s first single in two years as a prelude to his album ‘Songs Without Words’ due out on Om Records later this year.

Joining Mike behind the decks is our latest discovery from Hamburg, FLORIAN KRUSE. Florian has been building a name for himself with releases on Om and a sound best described as modern electronica fusing downtempo dub-influences with more German minimal-sounds. Rounding out the bill is RANDY QUAN, a London DJ with a taste for all things warm & techy who will get the night moving from early doors.

Taking things a little deeper, the fantastic Freerange Records take charge of Room 2...Freerange have long been associated with Om, with label boss JIMPSTER, remixing for the label as well as both labels sharing the same taste in artists with Mike Monday, JT Donaldson & Fred Everything all producing for both imprints.

Headlining for Freerange is an artist who has sold over 100,000 albums without ever being considered 'mainstream' or having a major hit single, CHARLES WEBSTER. Having lived in San Francisco his connection and love of delicious grooves means he is comfortable making music at any tempo and straddling numerous genres with ease.

We’re also very pleased to welcome the man himself; label boss, producer extraordinaire and all round good bloke JIMPSTER will also be on hand to take proceedings up a notch with a mix of melodic, tripped out beats and selection of Freerange new musical goodies no doubt! Supporting the two big chaps will be Freerange’s superb label residents MATT MASTERS & PASH OSTOVAR.

All in all a house head dream ticket all wrapped up in a cosy warehouse space with two monstrously large Funktion One systems, a sensibly priced bar and an outdoor terrace for the fag hags...bring on the Bank Holiday!
