HarderFaster DJs >> Jason Blayde
Music Style:Prodominantly hard dance. I have always stayed open to many ranges of music. Any tune can appeal to me for many different reasons eg. groovy bass lines, trance elements etc. and it doesn't neccessarily have to be hard house/trance.
Date of birth:29th August 1982
Residencies:Summit
Bookings Contact:jason@summituk.org
No. of records:About 1300
Started playing:5 years ago
All time top 3 tunes:Heaven's Cry - Til Tears Do us Part
System F - Out of the Blue
Technikal Presents Pierre Pienaar - Global Panic
Website:www.summituk.org
Worst DJing moment:I think every DJ that has played regularly has stopped the 'wrong' deck. I done this in my home town club years ago in front of about 8-900 people. It's strange how you always get the loudest cheer for doing this!!
Would most like to play:Don't really care as long as there's a good crowd in front of me Wink
Most enjoyable set you've played:Okay, I haven't done much playing on the hard scene yet, so I'll leave this til I've got a few to choose from.
When you're not DJing you're:Promoting Summit, chilling out with the boys, or recovering from a heavy weekend...
Favourite DJ:Andy Whitby, Eddie Halliwell - These guys really know how to work their equipment, and you can really feel an energy coming from them when you see them play.
Favourite Venue:Camden Palace
Favourite Promotion:Each has it's own unique qualities, but it's between Frantic, and Tidy.
Favourite Producer:Technikal
Favourite Label:Too many to choose from.
Biggest Influence:Alcohol
Drink:Raspbery, Apple and Grape Juice
Non-music pastime:Non Music?!?
Words of wisdom:There are 2 genres of music... Music you like, and music you don't.
