FREE PARTY ALERT!! Brush off your New Year’s Eve blues and get yourselves over to The Gallery on Friday 7th January for our first FREE MEMBERS PARTY of 2005. For those that remember last year’s equivalent bash, we were rammed to capacity by 1am, setting us up nicely for what turned out to be our biggest year to date!!
But back to the line-up now and an evening spent - as it is always traditionally, with The Gallery’s awesome residents. Gallery uber-god Tall Paul leads the main room charge, accompanied rather well by the harder loving sounds of fellow ressies John Askew and Gavyn Mytchel. Tall Paul will be recording his set LIVE for a forthcoming Gallery mix Compilation coming out later on in 2005. We also give a Turnmills debut to rising star Sophie Sugar, who won The Gallery 2004 DJ Competition. Sophie will get her chance to finish off the night with a flourish as she turns up the heat later on with her quality trance grooves. Riven is on starters orders from 10.30pm on a deeper house vibe.
Over in the backroom, Fandango resident Nic Fanciulli starts the year as he means to go on with another heavy underground house workout. Having headlined Lush, Northern Island on New Years Eve and then onto the famous Space, Miami on New Year’s Day, Nic returns to his London home to play alongside the DJs from his other residency - Club Class in Kent. Joining him will be Sam Ball, George Andrews and hip-hopper DJ Tang, plus Paul Hackett is on warm up duty.
