More: For the first time in our 6 years throwing parties, freaky dancing turns over the entire main room to be hosted for the night by Glasgow’s legendary soma records, in what's set to be an unmissable night for anyone in the north east with even a passing interest in techno, house or electronic music.

SLAM
Stuart McMillan and Orde Meikle aka slam burst onto the global techno scene in 1993 with the release of their seminal track 'positive education', and have stayed at the top of the scene ever since from their Glasgow base.

last years 'human response' album showed slam to still be on top of their game as producers, but it is as dj's that slam really made their name & it is as dj's that they will be playing at freaky dancing with a full 4 hours to play with

LET'S GO OUTSIDE
Oregon based Stephen Schieberl aka 'let's go outside' releases his debut album, 'a picnic with the hunters', this month on soma, and, predictably for soma, it's something of an eclectic masterpiece covering the spectrum of electronic music from abstract ambient soundscapes to pounding techno

"Let's Go Outside is probably one of the most original electronic acts at the moment because he does not fit anywhere. Brilliant ideas, brilliant production" - Ivan Smagghe

"Well experimental, some pure quality soma shit" - Laurent Garnier
