Hi All.

Was wondering. Is it worth taking Clubbing shots in RAW mode. For those that use D-SLRs or camera's that shoot RAW/TIFF...your views please.

I've never bothered taking RAW.
Highest I take is 300dpi JPG which should be good enough for most printing needs.

I had a thread about RAW a while ago ... I'll try to dig it out.

I dont use RAW unless I want A3+ sized prints.. I have never used Raw for clubbing photography.. just takes up too much space on the memory card.. and when you are just putting it on the net.. its gonna get shrunk to 72 dpi anyway.

Thanks Guys,
I've just got into the habit of shooting RAW for everything...you know..hehe....Just in case....

Needless to say it devours Hard disk and Mem Card space like a Binge drinker on a Friday night!!

Well a photoset ~2-300 pics at 300dpi can eat HDD space up pretty quickly too!

Hence I've bought a DVD writer Wink

I normally take a GB of photos in a night and my harddrive is slowly getting eaten away..

Ive started to back it up to.. looking ofrward to getting my powerbook then I can start again fresh Big grin
