Yes ladies and gent’s, you did read that right. SWAMP is coming back to a club near you!
After our legendary 4th birthday party with Puzzle Project at Club 414 back in May, we have decided to come back for good, because we realised just how much fun we were missing out on. And what better venue to host out return than the 414 in Brixton?
With a newly refurbished chill-out area, café and friendly security, we can’t think of a better small venue anywhere in the country, let alone London.
SWAMP will be returning on a bi-monthly basis to the 414, on the second Friday of the month. Returning with SWAMP are former residents Mad Phil, Matt Church and Littleman, who are joined by new resident DJ Zone, along with an assortment of the finest guests we could think of.
The first guest for October is Mark Ashley. A very well known face in clubland, not only for forging a successful solo DJ career, but also for his sterling work with Kevin Energy, K-Complex and MC Sharkey, who are otherwise known as the Nu Energy Collective.
Having made appearances at some of the countries largest clubs both as a solo act and as part of the Nu Energy Collective, running a record label and internet radio station, we frankly feel honoured just knowing we will be sharing the same club!
Not to be outdone however is Mark Sinclair, who used to throw those fantastic Pendragon parties, which have made a recent return to the clubbing fold. Not a name you see on flyers often enough for our money, so we just couldn’t resist asking him to play when we had the chance.
Also joining SWAMP for the night is Ben Bennett. When you think Ben Bennett, you think Hard Dance, The Butterfly Effect, Puzzle Project resident and Twisted promoter. Ben will be kicking off proceedings
for SWAMP however, with a 2 hour exclusive electro set, proving just what a versatile DJ he really is.
We at SWAMP are always looking for the next generation of stars to grace our decks. If you fancy being on a line-up with your name next to DJ’s like Mark Ashley and Mark Sinclair, come down and hand in your demo.
So that’s it, what more do we have to say? If you want to hear the finest in Trance and Hard Dance, you should get yourself down to SWAMP – THE RETURN, on Friday 13th of October @ Club 414.
