Never been a fan. Went a few years ago but only because it was Boeri's leaving do. We left after a couple of hours

Tbf, you hate most club venues. If it's not the venue, it's the doormen, or the toilets, or something.

Yip, especially in London. But on the Union front, I know im definitely not the only one who is not a fan. FYI - toilets and doorman is one club - MoS Wink

A change in venue and not such a narrow selection of music would be nice.

I agree a change in venue would be nice but as I am not prepared to do any of the research/organization that is required in finding a new venue then I will shut the hell up and be happy with Union Smile

I just learnt how to give myself a signature - 27/08/09 - bear (member for just over 2 years)

I just learnt that I can have 1 more than 3 lines in my sig and there is no word limit - 20/06/12 - bear (on a roll)

Does it have to be at Union? Why there? Because its cheap? Its the only reason Penny and I didnt attend last year, really dont like the venue, sound makes my ears bleed.

Yes, understand the need of many outweight the few but a different venue would be great.

Just some feedback from the PAOTY for the past 4 years Wink

I love Union but agree maybe it needs a bit of TLC

The toilets in the front room are a bit grim, but overall Union is a good venue, especially once the lights are down Wink I'd say it's on a par with Koko, except for sound but you pay for places with good systems.

We have looked at alternatives but they tend to be expensive, both in terms of their fee and drinks - £5 for a beer or spirit/mixer compared to about £3.50 at Union.
