» Get Up! Go Insane!

Label: London Records
Format: Digital
Genre: Dance / Breaks

A back in the day anthem gets rubbed down for 2019, complete with new mixes from KDA, K&K and Plump DJs. This is Get Up! Go Insane!. You might know this one. It was the follow-up to "I'm Alive", which also included a remix from Fatboy Slim, if I remember correctly. Anyway...on a side note, the classic mixes from Fatboy Slim are included, for the first time, in digital format.

We're going to be concentrating on the new mixes from K&K, KDA and Plump DJs. K&K start us off with a 2019 house rub that injects new life into a club smash. Jackin' house is the name of the game here with energy abound. Its a nice mix actually; inoffensive commercial house for the masses. Cool.

KDA drop(s) a Let Me Be remix. A tech-house stomper that uses elements of the original, as is often the case with remixes. This one is more techy than K&K's mix, which makes it my second fave mix of the package. What's my fave mix? Well, the Fatboy Slim mixes, which make their debut in digital form, come close but that honour is the Plump DJs who drops a tough breaks mix to finish off the pack. Its almost rave-like in poise and stature. Yeah, I dig this.
