Would have been better as just "Hazell nuts" though [/critic] Razz

(I'm guessing this is going to be way too soon for some...)

It's just not actually funny regardless of timescale.
I appreciate it's edgniess and now feel safe in the knowledge that no matter what fate befalls a person or section of humanity that someone has a gag ready before the body is cold.

I think it is fair to say that everyone on the Internet is annoying.

"someone has a gag ready".

Needed to keep the noise down.
Messy

Yep. He's been arrested for 'assisting an offender'.

Common or connected loft spaces Scratches Chin

The police statement said the body was found in a place which had been searched previously so perhaps it was moved?

Really not sure why the neighbour would assist or get involved in any way, did he/they really think they'd get away with it?

This is my thinking, either that or she was elsewhere (and possibly still alive) at the time of the previous search.
Whatever the course of events, this is a shocking and saddening story.

Suffering from a small case of mood poisoning, must be something I hate.

'...The failure to find her remains earlier, despite repeated police visits to and searches of her grandmother’s home on the New Addington estate in Croydon, is now the subject of an internal Metropolitan Police inquiry.

A specialist team had searched the entire house in the early hours of Sunday, August 5, and examined the loft where another team found the body five days later.

Detectives believe that the body had been in the same place all along and the Met has apologised, saying that “human error” was at the root of the failure.

But not recovering Tia’s body for a week means there has been significant decomposition and it has not yet been possible to ascertain the cause of her death...'

'...Malcolm Baker, a Met superintendent who retired last year, said that he could not understand why the search that missed the body was conducted in the early hours.

“I am very worried about what happened in New Addington,” he said.
“Searching at night is never a good idea unless absolutely necessary. To search properly you need to look under floorboards, lift carpets, send a dog into the roof space — I have to ask was all that done in a couple of hours in the middle of the night?”...'
