Deestopia

» Destroying Skynet

Reviewed by Pete M / Submitted 11-09-22 14:43

Label: Perfecto Records
Format: Digital
Genre: Trance

We move on to the new one by Deestopia and its a dark trance affair focusing on the dangers of AI and self-aware electronic beings. There is only one mix on affair, well, two if you include the radio edit.

This is dark and foreboding, not unlike the subject matter; the subject being Skynet, a key proponent of the Terminator movie series. A proggy beat section helps drive the tune along with a sinister bassline underneath. Its certainly one to play during a dark and broody set. I like it.
