I'll be using this thread to keep you up to date on any changes, updates, bug fixes or improvements to the site so that all this information is kept in a single place.

26th April 2004: Added Export PM Function
You may have noticed a new icon available on the What's On page under each event name called 'IncludePM'. This allows you to include full event details in your Private Messages, just click it and it will autofill your PM with the correct code. Give it a try, you might find it's handy for letting your friends know about events (but NOT spamming!)

27th April 2004: Added Export PM Function
This feature allows you to download your PMs from HarderFaster so you don't lose them when we messages older than 30 days are deleted from the database. You can find the link to export your messages at the bottom of your PM Inbox.

28th April 2004: Updated What's On Listings
Listings shown in the What's On guide are now restricted as follows:

Ticket Details: Max 5 lines
Description: Max 10 lines
DJs Info: Max 30 lines

This is to prevent excessive amounts of information submitted by promoters cluttering up the What's On guide. Clicking on the event name will still show all the info submitted for the event.

1st May 2004: Updated Photos Section
The Photos section has been updated with the following enhancements:

1. You can now link your photoset directly to an event in our What's On Guide. Type the name of the event - e.g. 'Tilt' or 'Frantic' into the text box and search for the correct event. The benefit of this is it automatically fills in the correct name, venue and date info and also allows others to quickly see all the photosets taken at a particular event as well as who was there.

2. The top 15 photosets ranked by views submitted in the last 10 days are now listed on the right hand side of the Photos page for both Members and Official sets.

3. Only one Photographer can set themself as the 'Official' photographer for an event, and only this photographer can set a photoset to 'Official'.

8th May 2004: Changed View Order of Secret Smilies List
Now smilies are listed in order of the code used rather than the tip text (thanks Private1)

8th May 2004: Added Hug Smiley
Code is : hug : (without spaces): Hugs (thanks tartipants)

10th May 2004: Amended Private Messages Icon
Now shows you the number of new private messages that you have when you hover your mouse over the flashing icon, rather than just saying that you have a new one (thanks Exiled Angel)

11th May 2004: Smilie and BB Code Insertion Updated

Have updated the message box for posting messages on the forums. Smilies should now insert at the cursor position and you can bold/italic/etc text by highlighting it then clicking the appropriate button.

20th May 2004: Added Page Selection links to top of forum page

To make it easier to switch between pages without having to scroll to the bottom (thanks girth)

20th May 2004: Added 'Send PM' links to top of PM Home page

So that you don't have to scroll to the bottom of your Inbox to send a message (thanks Private1)

20th May 2004: Added PM 'Mark' function

The PM Home page now has a PM 'Mark' as well as a 'Delete' button. You can use this for example to mark which PM's you've read but still need to deal with / reply to (thanks Exiled Angel)

September 2004: HTML Code
All forum posts, PMs and profiles are now checked for HTML code and characters. These are now removed.

October 2004: Servers
We hope to be ordering replacement servers in the next few weeks for installation in November. This will dramatically improve the speed of the site and will enable us to look at a streaming service for DJ mixes. Thanks for your patience until then.

9th October 2004: Searching - Forum and Photo searches restricted to registered members
Since the server is overloaded we are now limiting forum and photo searches to registered members only. You will therefore need to be logged in to search these sections.
Searching other sections of the site remains available to all users.
