Label: Abora Chillout Format: Digital Genre: Ambient
Like the Tylepathy mixes of Liquid Bloom on Desert Trax, Abora Chillout move into soundscape territory for their latest release. Mystairium is next up with a double-headed release on the softer, lighter, Chillout label.
A unique soundscape, a journey, into ambient textures awaits you on this release. It is fairly epic too; clocking in at 14 minutes in total. Its very much of the time too; as the world in the Northern Hemisphere enters the winter phase of the year, its time to slow down and witness the slow rebirth of nature and the oncoming longer nights and reflect on what's to come.
Astrale Finale is a solid release for me. It fully encapsulates what Abora Chillout is all about and moves away from the banging nature of the main label but still keeps the sound trancey, yet...at the same time, airy and light. I like it a lot.
