Label: Distinctive Records
Format: Digital
Genre: Progressive / Trance

Welsh breakbeat wizards Hybrid return with the follow-up to their last single, Flashpoint, on Distinctive. Nails is the new single and includes a remix from Pure Trance don, Solarstone.

Moving away from breaks, the Hybrid team weaves a progressive beast which runs just short of six minutes. Its a steady, benign, number with cool female vocals. Even if its a prog-house tune, it has a rock-like sound to it. I like it.

With Solarstone on board for the remix, Nails takes on a new lease of life. The energy is put towards the front-end with a faster beat and a powerful bass-line. It's reminiscent of his Smashing Atoms mixes, which is no bad thing. One to spin during trance sets, I t'ink.
