My daughter is getting to the age where she calls me 'Dad' more than she calls me 'Daddy' and it's making me a little sad... Frown

Kiss me, kiss me, kiss me
Your tongue's like poison
So swollen it fills up my mouth

It really ooks me out when I hear grown ups calling their folks Mummy and Daddy. Prince Charles did it at the concert, I'm not sure why but it's just feels totally and utterly inappropriate.

I'm glad someone else found this cringe worthy, coming from someone is his 60s and aimed at the Queen.

It was good for him to be a bit less formal, good for the whole firm, but surely he could have come up with something better...

Do you reckon anyone has said "your mother..." to him? Razz

Your Dad s nicknamed after Merv Hughes? That's awesome. We used to call my Dad Homer.

I just call Mum "Ma".

On a side note, all my family either call me Fat Man or Greasey Pigeon.

Yep. His name's Keith, but he had a paunch in the 90s so my brother christened him Big Merv after the similarly bellied cricketer.

Whilst this is awesome, I had a high hopes that it may have been due to him owning a vast and ridiculous moustache. You can't win 'em all.

Life is far too important to be taken seriously
