It really ooks me out when I hear grown ups calling their folks Mummy and Daddy. Prince Charles did it at the concert, I'm not sure why but it's just feels totally and utterly inappropriate.
I'm glad someone else found this cringe worthy, coming from someone is his 60s and aimed at the Queen.
It was good for him to be a bit less formal, good for the whole firm, but surely he could have come up with something better...
