01 Foxxy - Arcadia [AVE Remix / Fred Numf Remix] (Freaky Deaky Records)
Two awesome remixes here - the AVE mix is a groovy affair full of breakbeats but uplifting and trancey at the same time, while the master Fred Numf delivers a bouncy rolling feel complete with interludes courtesy of the brass section!

02 Acute - Symposium (unsigned)
This really has got "anthem" written all over it - catchy and uplifting but without the cheese and still with the trademark Acute stamp of high quality. It's going to be huge!

03 Joe Kinsella - One Too Many (unsigned)
Evil... just pure evil from this Northampton-based mentalist. So many different ideas in here but it all fits together so well and is so incredibly well made. After a downright wrong breakdown of acid and warbling bass, it feels the need to remind us it's "dark" by repeating the word in a slightly satanic echoey voice, before errupting into an awesome Vitalic-style bassline, a driving techy beat and sirens. Give this man a Grammy and then book him in with a psychiatrist.

04 DJ Eco - Out of the Box EP (Quarterlife) | BUY / PREVIEW
The mastermind behind and "Paradise Now" and "Light At The End" has come up with this fantastic EP - the "Whitebox" does the uplifting and anthemic, while the "Blackbox" does the dark and dirty and the "Redbox" does the deep and twisted, all equally worthy of the A-side.

05 Vlad Sokolov - Acid For Drains [Original Mix] (Sokolov Sounds) | BUY / PREVIEW
Squelches, bleeps and wobbly bassy fun from Mr Sokolov's latest offering, complete with crunchy percussion to get just about any dancefloor bouncing!

06 Dee Mond - Pyrate with a Y [Squatter Remix] (Pyrate Music) | BUY / PREVIEW
Breaks hero Squatter first grabbed our attention last year with "They're In My Bowels". This incredibly well-executed remix is deep and dark with a warm, evil bassline but a chunky beat to get your head nodding like a Churchill dog.

07 Raver + Ivan The Muru - One More Time [Tokugawa's Drums Remix] (Selecta Recordings)
A deep and techy but energetic flow and loads of original sounds are what make this one stand out. The laid-back "pacific" breakdown is just the right length and really complements it before dropping back into bass-driven force. Another strong release from this Spanish label!

08 Viktor Valsko - BassFeeder [Tempered DJs Mix] (Clean Recordings) | BUY / PREVIEW
Last month's top of the stack, a seriously dark and gritty slice of subwoofer sustinance which just keeps evolving throughout the track, complete with glitchy vocals and some wicked chords - Wow! 10/10.

09 Josh Gallahan - 1st Strike [Original Mix] (A State Of Trance) | BUY / PREVIEW
It's rare that a track on Armin's ASOT label will make my ears prick up, but the summery chords in this uplifting number did exactly that. Not incredibly imaginative in terms of the sounds or the structure, but this is the track you'll be singing on your walk home from the club!

10 Fer BR - Sahara Feelings (Sub Cult)
Again, Sub Cult have put together a whole EP of quality tracks. My pick this time features a relentless, driving percussive beat and a rolling bassline with a really funky feel and loads of tribal drums in the breakdown... superb groovy dancefloor fodder!
