And the technology is.......... where?

Er hello, they have put twice as much beer in a glass, how much more technologically advanced do you want?
Jesus.
If the 2 pint glass was the same weight/size/volume as a pint pot I'd side with you.
As it is - while it's progress, I can't call it technological advancement.

I'd like the pint to pour itself without more than 5mm foam. That's technological advancement.
A bigger pint glass is not. In fact, it's a yard wannabe.
Also - whoever poured that pint needs lessons.

This looks perfect for the ban on taking electronic devices on planes - the airline can "rent" approved superscreens to provide a better experience.
I heard some airlines are renting approved laptops, but that leaves the cargo hold full of devices with lithium-ion batteries which presents another danger
As you say, Airlines dont want YOUR laptop tablet in the main cabin as it could be rigged. Im sure airlines wont have a problem providing Laptop tablet rental, which they can screw people for.
Explosions in the luggage hold arent good, but not bad enough to do much damage.
At worst, they'll lose a lot of luggage and probably have a hole in the plane.
Luggage hold isn't pressurized, wouldnt that also reduce damage?
Umm, actually, cargo holds are indeed pressurised.
