There are no supermarkets on there. I'd have thought with all your ps skillz you'd have stuck a sneaky Tesco's Express on there or summat.

Can't be arsed - beside - I wanted to get in there before someone else did.

Fair comment.

Is it wrong that every post I read of yours I read with an Irish accent? Razz

No - I have an Irish accent - well, a Belfast accent - kinda like Jim from the apprentice but deeper and a little less twatish (i'd like to think anyway).

It's about costs ceekay. They charge more because the cost per square foot of having an "express" / "local" is higher. This is why the prices are higher in corner shops too.

My corner shop is cheaper than both the tesco and sainsbury locals. And Tescos are just greedy fcuking cunts who don't actually NEED to put five locals on one high street, forcing small local businesses out of the area. Mad Evil Tantrum

It may well stock cheaper goods, but I doubt the branded goods are cheaper (eg, cigarettes)

Life is far too important to be taken seriously

ORLY? Laughs out loud I promise you're wrong on that score. Cigarettes are cheaper in my local than any of the supermarket Locals that I have been to. So is Tate & Lyle sugar and Rubicon juice.

A little rudeness and disrespect can elevate a meaningless interaction to a battle of wills and add drama to an otherwise dull day.
