For Desert Trax's next release, Liquid Bloom team up with Brazilian soundsmith Porangui for a trip to Peyote Canyon. There's five remixes on offer here which accompany the original mix. It continues the Liquid Bloom story of healing and music without borders, the mantra of Desert Trax.
Smooth rhythms aplenty here; with Liquid Bloom's expertise in crafting atmospheric cuts melding with Porangui's soundscapes. Porangui, by the way, has two remix albums out on the label so check 'em out. Of the remixes, two go beyond 10 minutes; the Uone mix is a progressive affair that ambles along leisurely, and Tylepathy, who delivers a 13-minute beatless odyssey. In between, we have Ancestral Elephants and Wolf Tech who provides a jazzy-influenced mix for you all. EXORCE covers the rear with a mix of his own. The aforementioned Ancestral Elephants' mix is my second fave mix; the first being the Tylepathy mix.
This is a cool package from Desert Trax. Something for everyone, I think. Check it.
