House Anthems 4 sets benchmark for South African dance compilations
In a market flooded with product, ‘House Anthems 4’ undoubtedly sets the benchmark for dance compilations.
It’s a bold claim but it’s one that the two-disc release has no problem backing up – boasting both a track selection and mixing touch that elevates ‘House Anthems 4’ into a terrain which effortlessly straddles both the commercial and credible.
The latter is not an easy feat – but that ‘House Anthems 4’ does it so well is totally down to the two creative forces behind the project: Kevin Grenfell and Dean FUEL. These two DJ forces have not only put their creative talents behind the album itself – but are now about to embark on a SA Tour to get the music to where it really needs to be – on the dancefloor!
HOUSE ANTHEMS SA TOUR:
To cement the release’s position in the market, a nationwide club tour, in partnership with LG Mobile (who recently released their new DJ scratch range of mobile phones) is already mapped out – it begins in the first week of June, launching at Cape Town’s most loved nightspot – OPIUM on Friday 1st June – also serving as the closing down party to the Opium club, which is going into a 4 month period of venue relocation, construction, and renovation.
The Tour will see FUEL and Grenfell visit all of the country’s major cities including Cape Town, Durban, Jo’burg, East London and Port Elizabeth – doing what they do best – keeping the dancefloors grooving to their quality house beats!
Make sure you catch these music masters in your respective city – it’s going to be a tour to remember!
