I said I wouldn't revisit this event last year but they moved venues, the new site looked good to the trainspotter in me.Meridian Waters is in Tottenham, made up of four warehouses and a large outside area, another place that looks like flat building has been put on hold by Brexit uncertainty(but that is the clubbers gain). The emphasis of the festival this year was more on a rave/dance vibe. There was a large outside stage for exciting acts like Diplo and Pusha T amongst others (a good place to chill). An outside dance arena made up of containers, this was pretty crowded most of the time a smallish indoor warehouse for other live acts. The attraction for me was the main warehouse for rave, this was massive, almost twice the size of Printworks(it was promoted by the same company). There was a techno DJ on when I arrived and the production was pretty good, but this goes into overdrive when the headliner Seth Troxler comes on.Crowd wise it is similar to Junction 2,though slightly more urban,it covers a very broad range,it was pretty much sold out but I had no queue going in.I would certainly visit this venue again but there is nothing on the horizon at the moment.
