The 16th January, 2010 marks MMD Records 4 year anniversary, simply called “ANTI VENOM”, and this time we’re going to twisting things around once again with yet another poisonous array of highly venomous creatures, guaranteed to pierce your synaptic cortexes and destroy your internal nervous systems with their highly toxic frequencies.

<<CYTOTOXIC>>:
One of the cytotoxic predators MMD is excited to be showcasing is the highly venomous debut of MANTIS, headed up by Nexus Media frontman, Chris Hoy aka Shift.
-Brief Description-
The unique Mantis sound comprises of many tight synthetic riffs layered with overlapping eerie soundscapes to create a dark and intense journey for the listeners on the dancefloor. Still maintaining that signature “Shift” sound, but taking a more sinister nighttime edge, Mantis offers a faster, darker, more in-depth trip that will no doubt twist, wind and contort the dance floor through those demented hours of the night. This is the first time Mantis will be performing live and is sure to be highly corrosive and melt a few faces.
Some of the other cytotoxic creatures that will be cranking it during the night include a special Rubix Qube/Biorhythm split set (that will feature their most viscous beats from both the projects), as well another highly acidic live set from the Skragg aka Rabdom L, who will be constructing a fresh set specially to jolt the dancefloor through those creepy hours of the early morning.
<<HAEMOTOXIC>>:
Slightly less aggressive than Cytotoxins but equally dangerous, in the Haemotoxic category, we have an group of blood thinning agents, two of which include the return of Rudraksh and newly signed MMD Records rep from India, Gatafreak, as well as Timecode and Boom Festival DJ, Anestetic from Portugal, who both will add that edgy international morning bite to push the dancefloor to the daytime.
***Due to unforseen circumstances Gatafreak will not be able to make it to SA this time....buuuut on the plus side,we welcome back the other Mortal Kombatent,Psydreal, from Beyond Logic Records in India, who returns to SA to promote their new V/A "Forces of Creation" (compiled by Wizard Lizard)...it's gonna be a blaster of a morning set you're not gonna wanna miss!
<<NEUROTOXIC>>:
Early evening and daytime will feature the slow acting (but potentially fatal) neurotoxic venom, featuring amongst others Nano Records frontman, Regan, DJ Bruce’s energetic live daytime project. Solar Axis, & another nerve acting b2b set between the Psynopticz agents Humerous and Silo.
With the help of some familiar faces such as Zion Linguist, EMP, Archive, Psymatix, Mark, Never & Phat Planet, as well as some fresh names to the attack the MMD stage such as Deliriant, Xatrik, Tune Raider, this is sure to be yet another unpredictable and high poisonous gathering not to be missed!
