yet another strike, oh well, I hardly ever use the tubes anymore because of their pathetic strike-as-we-want-more-money-for-a-shitter-service attitudes

has anyone seen the TFL posters around london?? all about getting a bike and riding, surely if they want people to pay more for tickets to line their pockets with cash their posters should be saying bikes are bad?

I'd love to, but the great british weather, plus commuting from E14 to W3, just puts me off it Messy

It honestly isn't that bad - and the weather is fine. Suspicious

My commute is from SE16 to W1 which isn't a problem - about 35 - 40mins - and I used to cycle from N22 to NW8 and that wasn't too bad either.

Once you get the nerve up to go out an initial few times, you'll realise it's not as bad as you think. I actually feel quite comfortable with it now - although I will confess that I was nervous to start with, so I did the route a few times on a Saturday and Sunday just to get used to it first.

fucming hell, they aren't striking over pay this time, its because and I quote this from bbc news

"The Rail Maritime and Transport (RMT) union said the new system could be used to check hours worked by staff."

Well fuck me, they wanna be able to skip work and still be paid for it too, I far as I know alot of places hold a clocking in card system that you sign in with. Secruity guard wear ID's, taxi drivers also have cards from what I'm aware???

Can I suggest that we all get cheapo ghetto blasters and sit outside the stations playing that "Londen Underground" song as loud as it will go.

Also, maybe we should start a sticker campaign, i.e. you know how you see stickers for websites and stuff that people put on top of advertising on the underground, well maybe we can just have stickers calling all RMT members wankers, or something like that, I dunno Roll eyes (sarcastic)

I'd love to do it, but am afraid that the combination of me, left hand side traffic and any big mean of transport that leaves me smaller one on the road is a lethal combination.
