Decided that you should be able to sack someone for being gay.

Donald Trump’s Department of Justice has appeared in a federal court to argue that employers should be able to fire people for being gay.

Skydiving company Altitude Express is being sued after a former instructor, Donald Zarda, alleged he was sacked in 2010 over his sexual orientation.

All 13 judges of the 2nd Circuit Court of Appeals in New York City are expected to decide if a provision of the 1964 Civil Rights Act that prevents discrimination based on gender also applies to sexual orientation, reports Vice News.

Deleted his tweets after backing Alabama primary loser.

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-us-canada-41417279

Quote:
US President Donald Trump has deleted several tweets endorsing a candidate he backed in an Alabama election after he crashed to defeat on Tuesday.

"Luther Strange has been shooting up in the Alabama polls since my endorsement," Mr Trump wrote in one now-removed post.

And, like a chameleon, Trump changed his tune to congratulate Mr Moore on his victory:

Quote:
"Sounds like a really great guy who ran a fantastic race. He will help to #MAGA!" he tweeted, referring to his "Make America Great Again" catchphrase.

The Republican president has been known previously to occasionally delete tweets, most often replacing them after correcting spelling errors or other mistakes.

Some watchdog groups have criticised the deletions, saying that the tweets are government records that must be preserved for the historical record.

Like a (my) boss. How is it that he forgets that his past tweets have either been retweeted or backed up and not quite expunged just because he deletes them?

Yep, this is particularly special. Surely there is a group out there saving all his tweets?

I mean, Fi is basically doing that already

Look on the brightside - the same way Al Capone was jailed for tax evasion, Trump could find himself in hot water with records laws Scratches Chin

Started physically mocking John McCain again

Donald Trump has reportedly been mimicking the thumbs down motion made by John McCain when he torpedoed Republican attempts to repeal Obamacare.

The US President mocked the way Republican Senator McCain indicated his vote in July, according to a report from Axios.

Mr McCain sustained permanent injuries during his time as a prisoner of war. He is unable to lift his arms above his head, as a result of being shot down, injured and held captive for five years during the Vietnam war.

Replied to the Las Vegas shooting saying:

Quote:
Speaking to reporters as he was about to board the presidential helicopter, Mr Trump said Paddock was "a sick man, a demented man. Lot of problems, I guess, and we're looking into him very, very seriously".

On the issue of gun control, the president said: "We'll be talking about gun laws as time goes by."

Look all you like Trumpy, the common factor in all these mass shootings is ... GUNS!

Shoots
