Bioshokk Triplicity: Matt Melody speaks to Webbo, with VinDiesel taking notes to make the magic three, 19th Jan

HarderFaster DJs >> Terry Fursland
Music Style:If it doesn't bounce then well......nah fast usually around 157bpm, tough, bouncy with an drop of cheese or classic bounce, The shame is that no-one produces what I like any more, though recently I have started to venture into a bit versitility, maybe the odd tuff NRG tune and a bit of uplifting starting to creep back into my sets.
From:Feck knows. you may have to ask the crazed stork who dropped me in east London.
Date of birth:have a guess..............mind you I don't think i'm ageless BUT my tuneage always makes me feel young again!
Residencies:Twatted-HARD promoter/resident and Sundaze (well semi-resident shared with Pascal D, he plays the 1st wkend of the month, I always play the 3rd!)
Management Agency:oh wouldn't I like to be sign up to one..........little oh me.
Bookings Contact:Steven Norris (Agent Hooverweight) 07922959587
Hia Morrison (Twatted-HARD promoter) 07913760154
No. of records:Currently around 1200 of my own but got access to loads more
Started playing:Started mixing around 7 years ago but had my first set aug '05 (about time too!)
All time top 3 tunes:1- Cafe del Mar (3-in-1 remix)- Energy 52
2- Seven Cities (V-one remix)- Solar Stone
3- I don't care- Tony de Vit
Signed to:*management agency
Sample set:PM me an address and i'll post you a demo.
Worst DJing moment:I hope everyones made this mistake. My very last set Flipside@ClubQ. Straight after the end of my set as the next DJ was plugging his cans in I pulled up the wrong needle up. Total silence for all of two seconds to which the small crowd (thankfully it was early in the night!) cheered! Never again.
Would most like to play:A Sunnyside Up reunion??????? or maybe I'd like to bounce Tasty up a bit...... yeah thats better come on mr Bunter, don't be shy give me a try.
Most enjoyable set you've played:Well it seems like Twatted stole my heart again. It was time to smash the 1st birthday bash@The Telegraph. After such a good night my last set came and trying to keep up with all the DJs I knew was going to be a monumental task but when I dropped 'The Tumbler' (Illogik remix) and saw the crowds reaction (and the look on my sisters face) well I knew i'd hit home and never looked back on. Shame the staff tried to turn on the lights 15 mins before the end of my set.........friggin slack security!
When you're not DJing you're:Catering, mixing in my shed, playing football, ice-skating(when I had the legs I used to play a bit of ice-hockey.....honest....I got pictures.), X-Box, and reading up on a bit of history (Egyptians at mo!!!!!),watching movies and dating a certain nice young lady I met at a wedding!
Favourite DJ:Me- 'cos no-one plays enough bounce like I do!
Favourite Venue:George IV , easily the best boozer in London. Lived n died so many times in there over the last 8 yrs or so. It just gets better every time I venture in there. better @Sundaze!!!!!! (though I have had the pleasure of playing@the Mass just once recently and like the system in there!)
Favourite Promotion:My promotion.......Twatted HARD and Flashbak
Favourite Producer:No favourites but to name a few The Fallout Boy,Woody, Ingo, Racheal Aulburn, The Vinylgroover n The Red hed, Tweek, the 'old' BK, Cheeky Trax, Samuel E Reeve and John Whiteman.
Favourite Label:Nothing really in paticular....... Hotwax trax, Elastikman, Vacuum, Shock, the old Nukleuz and Tidy Trax......to name a few
Biggest Influence:Skol n Roosta.....two guys I used to follow around like gods of Suunyside-up and Pete Wardman because he was one of the DJs there when I first got into hard house and he is a top mate.
Drink:JD n coke, snakebite....... pineapple juice and a cup of rosy lee (see cockney slang dictionary for meaning for all you suckers that don't know what it means!) always goes down a treat.
Non-music pastime:*see the 'when not DJing section'
Words of wisdom:Don't let the wee bastards grind ya down (say in a Scottish accent for full effect)
Other Comments:Elvis was gay............. tee hee hee
