A night of seriously Latin and tropical vibes. Host DJ Cal Jader is joined by Sonido Tropico's ElPeche & Tropical Beat's Karlos The Jackal.
Rooted in São Paulo's underground scene, ElPeche brings a heavy mix of European Techno, Tropical and Brazilian Folk sounds and rhythmic Brazilian beats. Born in São Paulo and raised in the UK, he is part of the rapidly growing world electronic music movement and has just come back from a European tour showcasing the latest developments of São Paulo's underground scene.
Karlos The Jackal has been steering the Tropical Beats ship for over 3 years. With nights all over West London and a much loved and respected Radio Show, they are the most rum-soaked, fun-lovin' tropical selectas this side of the Atlantic. Expect Latin bangers, Brazilian Bounce, Hot Salsa, and top Cumbia selections.
Muévete is Movimientos' west london residency - a monthly fiesta with a dance floor-slammin' mash up of raw Latin beats and tropical bass. Everything from the rolling Latin rhythms of salsa, cumbia, merengue and Samba to the reggaeton, hip hop, dancehall, moombahton, afro-latin house and big brazilian and caribbean carnival rhythms with Afro-beats, soca and global underground sounds.
Putting it simply Muévete translates as 'Move it!' so we're not messing around - straight to the dancefloor!
