I can't contain my anger any long for these two adverts. Both are so bloody patronising they make me want to vent my spleen and never buy anything ever again.

"pre-moistened toilet paper to use alongside normal toilet paper"
The Dawn Porter infested ad and her 'Clean Campaign" makes me want gouge my head out. The product it pretty un eco-friendly and pointless too.

Not seen either of them, but with our TiVO we simply don't see any adverts (well only at high speed and muted). I like Dawn Porter, so glad I am not annoyed by that one.

2. Pantene's Institute of Trichologists advert with Nikki Hambleton Jones
Awful, awful, awful - so patronising and fake.
It's like these companies really hate their customers.
*PS I can't find examples online. Perhaps because of the awful comments they would no doubt get.
i haven seen the first one but even so I echo your sentiments 100%. those adverts that make you buy some pointless, disposable, chemical-ridden products by generating fear that you smell, or you're dirtier than everyone else, or you're a bad parent... literally make me see red. i wish for a moment this wasn't a free society and those advertisers could be soundly punished.
that whole series of fake scientific adverts with Nikki Hambleton Jones FUCK ME RIGHT OFF. next time you see it, just watch her face... she's like a snake in red lipstick. see the camera linger on her 'response' face... her little nods and smiles. she's mesmerisingly dreadful
nothing is exactly as it seems, nor is it otherwise

In which case, I will do it. I likes me some ranting. I will set my PVR to only record adverts.
