Anyone else find that when you come across people they used to know or only casually know, you suddenly get all shy about sending them a friend invite? I must overcome my cyber-coynessBlush

Yes/no.
But a drunk evening in front of the PC will usually end up in 10+ friend invites sent out.

Had stuff on the news last night about such sites being used by prospective employers against you etc.
That + my Sis is a friend means I'm a bit cautious about putting too much on there.

I always keep it in the back of my mind that my company might be checking my page out (in fact I'm sure at one person's had a casual nose about) so I try not to put too much stuff on there.

Zem - I'm not quite sure of the etiquette yet either. I think they should put up a FAQ about itWink

I used to think if you are happy to poke them, they are truly your friend.

Then I poked, Ian Bell, Tony Blair and Boris Johnson and none of them have returned my friends request Crying (very sad)

If someone pokes me does that mean I'm supposed to invite them as a friend or poke them back? I'm lost on this one, please help.
