Richard Dinsdale

» She Wants Me

Reviewed by Greg Zizique / Submitted 23-02-07 12:53

Label: Spin Out Records
Format: 12" Vinyl
Genre: Electro

He's risen fast, and created a right little niche for himself, and yet again he's done it. Pure dirty jackin' electro with that essential Dinsdale bassline, which just simply works the hell out of a dance floor.

Bouncy and moving bass with a robotic female vocal and electronic bleeps, added dirty builds and cuts that are designed to purely slam the mix with the sub bass, you’ve got another winner. The track itself is pretty relentless with its sound and gives a right good thrashing of the system, catchy little sample and cuts and the bassline make it a very effective floor cut, watch this one go off, a must to have.

Si McEvoy (of Spin Out fame) who recently remixed Swain & Paris’s “Come as One” yet again steps up to the table for a more up tempo mix. Adding a more stabby and gritty bassline to the mix, which builds and creates a nice energy. After the second breakdown the pace is lifted and cranked with yet another cool sub bass. Watch this man this year.

Finishing things off is Meat Katie and his Tech Funk sound, more of a darker veined mix, mutating up the parts to form another hybrid sound, solid tough peak time killer breaks meets house meets techno almost, yet again proving why he’s unique.

Yet again, another fine and essential release for Spin Out, who simply keep proving time and time again, to be an underground label with style.
