Eyerer & Chopstick Ft. Zdar

» Make My Day (Haunting)

Reviewed by Greg Zizique / Submitted 05-07-07 17:05

Label: iO Music
Format: 12" Vinyl
Genre: Electro/ House

A stunning fresh track from one of the best new hot production teams of late on the iO Music Label that recently seriously turned the oven up to full heat with there Tricky Disco remixes for 2007.

German duo Eyerer & Chopstick add to there original instrumental the vocal talents of Cassius front man Phillipe Zdar for a piece of cool as electronic house music. There Original mix is funky bass fuelled feel good vibed house and has already caught the attention of Tong and Tiga.

ISI-E start off the remixes, with a tough meets jackin’ house mix. Packed with energy and real rocky house style vibe as well, this one has a definite cool edged feeling throughout that retains the original’s feeling but turns up the pressure for a further floor busting approach. Cascading use of the electronic elements really works and you get a must have floor mix.

Mashtronic supply a mighty remix (and Dub too for those other moments) and turn it up seriously with a hefty power churning paced bass laden chunky alternative version. Using the vocal to full effect for a sheer power driven mix, it sits there and just pushes away with a cool breakdown that seriously makes you want to dance with the energy created. If you’ve liked any of the recent work, you’ll be reaching for this one, a must have.
