The Jinks

Label: Jinks Inc
Format: 12" Vinyl
Genre: House

Dan Savidge and Chris Gau burst onto the house scene with “Love Like This” back in 2005 and have featured on labels such as Mn2S and Sole Music with quality “real” house cuts. This debut release on their new label Jinks Inc features the vocal talents of Philly’s Lady Alma who has collaborated with 4 Hero and King Britt previously.

The Main mix has a great sound with the full vocal lick from Lady Alma, lots of funky slick beats and synth works the vibe and some nice touches here and there really work to maintain an uplifting mood. With a much more full vocal house feeling and traditional elements brought up to date it’s another winner from the Jinks.

The J-Fonk Dub goes for a much deeper darker feeling from the outset, with a later night sound. Tougher drums kick the track up for a more synthy style led version that’s got a really slamming factor for the dance floor. Very catchy and building with minimal vocal use you have a cool slammer to use and it’s my favourite mix by far.
