Label: Discover
Format: 2 x CD
Genre: Trance

Presenting the third in the innovative album series from Recoverworld, mixed club live in Northern Ireland and Lebanon from scene stalwarts Matt Hardwick & John Askew ensuring they have kept their finger on the trance pulse.

In an age of compilations released anywhere and with no real extensive live feeling, they’ve gone back to basics, and Live As has captured once again everything about the mix, with actual crowd noise and responses to bring out a somewhat different feeling resulting in the raw appeal that most commercial albums somewhat lack. With unique locations for the mixes from Belfast and Beirut it’s both uplifting and inspiring to hear the crowd.

John Askew says “It makes you want to be there, or if you were there and you’re listening back then it takes you back – giving you the chance to relive that special occasion.”

Already receiving the title of Mixmag Album of the Month and a great review from DJ Mag, Live As 3 looks set to follow the huge success of the series with fresh, cutting, uplifting energetic dance music.

The crowd noise on that is far too much.
Why bother buying an album when the sound quality is no better than that of a downloaded live set?

All about the Askew CD for me.
