Mike Koglin vs Marc Vedo

» Dirty Monster

Reviewed by Greg Zizique / Submitted 25-09-07 20:25

Label: 5AM
Format: 12" Vinyl
Genre: Trance

Whoa, massive big name trancers team up and collide for the next 5AM release, with legend Mike Koglin and International Koolwaters Dj Marc Vedo rolling out a slice of big room trance.

Mike and Marc’s Original mix utilises several elements that are fused very well, a solid kicking start leads into a driving energetic bass and teasing vocal hits. Really nice sweeping synths start to work the vibe with the bass and give it a slightly dark edge before totally notching up the pace and taking you back down for the breakdown. Cool effects and sounds here and there add the extra lift and punch and it all kicks back in for a uplifting energetic peak time slice of trance.

The man that can, and non stop these days with relentless productions and remixes Richard Durand throws out yet another tech trance hybrid smashing remix. With his usual sublime smooth and crisp production skills you are treated to a really nice refreshing uplifting mood. Punchy drums ensure that Durand’s kicking dance floor bass really lifts you up and throws down the energy for a massive release when it drops. An excellent remix and with a much more techy building vibe to contrast the Original mix from Mike and Marc it’s a great release.
