» The Dover EP

Label: Comfortably Numbed
Format: Digital
Genre: Minimal Techno, House, Tech

One of the freshest talents from down under in recent times Jesse Sanders A.k.a. Janders returns to Comfortably Numbed after an impressive debut on the previous EP "That Hurts”.

Starting things of with “Dover” you are treated to a track that sits somewhere in modern tech meets almost electro infused house. Pure Underground orientated, it’s a state of mind you’re listening to as well as some darker broody beats. What sits on a minimal backing then utilises a tripped out approach and twisted edged elements for a unique inspiring track.

Alex Kenji provides the first remix of “Dover” and as current word trends dictate it’s a “wobbly” slice for sure. Opting for a hypnotic slant and solid groove led dirty version, it’s a little more developed and reaches into the techno heads sounds much more. With speaker jarring sounds and effects throughout he’s managed to pick up on the best unique original elements and slammed it into later night dance floor territory. Mr. Elastik finishes off “Dover” with a blip twisted offering to contrast against the previous mixes and take you down deep and dirty into the other side for some weird and cunning beats and strong energy.

“Dusted” finishes of the EP and has a different feeling to “Dover” cut up vocal effects and changing cranking beats and effects make it very interesting for the floor. A cool bass slams the track into realms that just push your mind further and further and almost messes with it so much at points, it’s like you’ve lost your head.

Release Date this NYE.
