Based West

Label: Fektive / Deepend
Format: Digital
Genre: Progressive House, Progressive Trance.

Based West is a new project by Solid Sessions who previously had released 'Janeiro' via EMI/Positiva. It was top 10 in 11 countries and was featured on more then 40 compilations. Back to the current day and more studio time has been spent developing skills and sounds and from many a session out comes a more progressive sound of now.

Firefly has a cool distinctive fresh uplifting atmosphere to the track, a gently carving synth line works its way through the track and builds up with a subtle vocal and provides a nice energectic feeling. Lifting your spirit up the track has a really nice lasting impression on your mind.

Chiapas provide the alternative mix and a far more energetic version from the off. Lots of deep effects create a strong blueprint behind the scenes and slowly all build momentum as the main vibe kicks in. Opting for a slight more uplifting progressive trance almost in sound and edge, it has just a little more energy to it that I like alot more to the Original mix and some changes here and there add a sparkle for that extra touch.
