» Level Up

Reviewed by Greg Zizique / Submitted 16-01-08 18:13

Label: Black Hole
Format: 12" Vinyl
Genre: Trance

A monster trance release from Black Hole and Jonas Steur who releases from his “Born for the Night” the epic “Level Up” that features some heavyweight remixes for pure peak time pleasure. Jonas’s Original mix is a unique crossover trance track with a rocky guitar built vibe for some different dance floor creations.

Marcus Schossow slams some killer injected paced beats into the mix with full kicking bass touching techy effects and bubbling bass that lifts the track to a new level indeed. Lots of cool sounds run throughout the mix and the way the trance synth is ran through the track makes for a simply huge alternative offering any day.

Sied Van Riel provides another interpretation and in my opinion stays closer to the Originals vibe, and builds upon it a lot more so and further develops a much more touching version with a really big room atmospheric vibe and large breakdown which gently releases itself into a fresh trance track.
