Andy Duguid

» Don't Belong

Label: SongBird
Format: 12" Vinyl
Genre:

Scottish producer Andy Duguid has achieved a lot of success in recent times with various Original productions and remixes for a whole host of labels and Artists. Andy's production talent is also complimented by his djing. Andy's pure passion for his works is shown in his live sets which always leave the crowd breathless.

Don’t Belong captures what Andy has shown recently, fresh, crisp sounding uplifting progressive backed dance music with a dreamy trance edge added for a full compliment. A great female vocal floats your cares away and takes you down a touching journey and the lyrics are somewhat touching as well to boast. Some nice gentle building keys add for a pure fresh effect on the floor.

Phynn takes Andy’s uplifting Original and unleashes a far more big room effort. Making the overall sounds have far more depth and builds a slightly heavier in comparison energetic re working. The vocal is used in full effect and it has a great euphoric feeling and would be my choice out of the two mixes. Also the way Phynn captures the essence of the lyrics and loops them up a bit more for a far more fulfilling effect.
