Steve Noxx

» 100 Degrees Of Noise (Original & DJ Choose remixes)

Reviewed by Greg Zizique / Submitted 19-03-08 15:53

Label: Phase Seven Records
Format: Digital
Genre: Tech Trance, Electro Trance

Folllwing on from Will Gold's "Empty promise" Welsh production scorcher NuSense aka Steve Noxx is the main man behind the next instalment of filthy laden tech trance supported by Mark Sherry, Vinylgroover, K90, SVD, Dr Willis and many more.

Steve's Original mix kicks off with his firing tough and rugged drums and kicky stab loops with a swishy build-up into another broody dark but dirty and filthy raw bass that drives along and charges up the pressure cooker. Having quite a funky chunky almost roll to the whole of the track it works very effectively and has lots of little changes to lift you up further. A nice female distant vocal enhances the breakdown and then the extra large bass pitches up and drops for some tough energy to the end.

Dj Choose provides the remix, and in true style that he's become known for, smooth rolling ultra cool high thought out main room energetic trance. Providing both Vocal and Instrumental version it’s the usual banging but classy Choose bass line that works wonders and blistering uplifting tints that strive to push things forward with an awesome refreshing effect. If you’re looking for a straighter down the line trancer then this is the one for you, and if you fancy some nu breed edgy style, Steve’s Original mix will work wonders.
