Signal Drivers

Australian label Destination? delivers a ghetto bouncy number from the Signal Drivers already rocking the clubs around the world.

Bad sub bass laden with squeaky squelches and the vocals of MC Renz provide the treatment to get the hands in the air. Further mixes are supplied by Miles Dyson and German Tech producers Superstrobe put their mark on it to create two very different dance floor bombs.

I felt that the Original mix, even though had some great ideas and sounds, was a little to pop led with its result, but Miles Dyson throws some tough dirty beats at it and this mix takes the best approach for me. Electronic bass over hauls the track and gives it a deep techy edge with some nice up and downs that work alongside some of the original elements. Deep cutting effects work really effectively too. He uses the vocal in a less cheesy fashion and ensures a far further developed all round mix will slam the floor up no hassles.

Superstrobe use a more charging subtle tech infused offering with a steady sub conscious level of working the bass. Taking it a wee more electronica it works and pulls off a good effect. With a strong nice energy and some bleeps included and again fluid use of the vocal, both mixes have picked up on the best bits and taken it further.
