Fresh happy uplifting vibed Housexy club brand, much in liking to the solid Hed Kandi now have firm regular fixture nights and ours across club land and a new summer residency at Eden. With this in mind, the latest double jam packed spread of funky delicious sugar coated house is delivered for the 10th release.
Starting off with Groove Armada is never a bad choice, and some sweet bumpy soulful cuts from Christian Alvarez and Park Street ensure that the traditional sounds are included. Banging it out more towards the end and you get Happy Clappers with Vandalisms new update and Bart B More who twists the bass out of things he touches. Its a nice smooth journey with some more tougher cuts towards the end. Cd 2 utilises more slick happy toe tapping choices from the Groove Junkies to Hardsoul, and then more pop driven selections such as Freemasons with Uninvited. Some bouncy happy filtered gems from Ian Carey and Warren Clarke make for some upping of the temp before the deeper Mark Knight & Funkagenda - Shogun takes you down to the end.
The double CD's feature some solid cuts, and everything from traditional bar styled grooves to more op driven, then to classics re lived. its all here in plentiful supply and if you’re a fan of this particular style, I’m sure you’d enjoy it a lot.
