With the second re-release from the legendary Murk Records catalogue after last years smash update of Funky Green Dogs “Reach For Me” Ralph Falcon and Oscar G are hardly a pair that need an introduction.
With a massive number of #1’s in the US Dance Chart and indeed four singles from one album at #1 they have played a major part in the development of house music over the years.
The Original shows the true sound Murk are famed for, deep tribal drums with pulsating basslines, melodies and soulful vocals. After his amazing remix of “Reach For Me” Cr2 enlist Paul Woolford for the main hitting remix duty, and Paul’s 11 minutes of Magic mix is the highlight on the package.
A slow broody bubbling piece of electronica inspired house with a cool modern flow and edge. Pulsating the bass like Murks Original but adding deep dark effective sounds and pick ups all develop the mood this is one for those long haul late night sessions.
