Ben Preston

» False Alarm

Label: Black Hole
Format: Digital
Genre: Progressive House, Trance

A fresh new signing for Black Hole in the guise of Ben Preston, who forms half of UK production duo The Tastemakers.

Opting for a more progressive trancey outing to previous material, this one has a great style and sound. Utilizing a strong and structured approach with the best bits of house and modern progressive touches, combined with a uplifting clear crisp trance mood it’s a cool cut. In some ways it has a restrained element to the direction of the track, but there is a load to get your teeth into with smooth rolling drums and positive uplifting dreamy feelings to absorb.

Daniel Wanrooy & Mark Green provide an alternative version with a more pumping inclination. Lots more energy right from go sets the scene for a more intense rolling and driving high charged bass that drives the whole thing further. Using a far greater depth with its sound and far more trance tendency that gains momentum in the breakdown for a screeching slamming looping effect and should rock the room very well.
