Genre: House, Progressive Trance

Andain’s 2003 hit gets a re-update fresh for the winter months of 2008. With two new mixes on offer from Gustav & Dave Robertson you have a nice option of progressive trance or deep moving house.

My favourite version ifs from Dave Robertson, who I feel has given it that little bit of pizzazz needed, whilst being sympathetic to the originals vibe and direction, Dave has brought his tech rolling bass to the equation, smooth drums and refined sounds, effects and carefully created flow. The deep bubbly bass moves along well and brings in some nice changes with extra percussion layered in to keep it fairly energetic as well.

Gustav opts to provide a progressive induced trance version with a deep kick and lots of different levels to bring out a sublime rendition with a deep response. Using a lot more of the vocal and keeping it bright, uplifting and atmospheric it charges along just right, not to much pumping energy but balanced so it’s not boring and works alongside the vocal as well.
