Vinny Troia feat Jaidene Veda

» Magic

Reviewed by Greg Zizique / Submitted 10-12-08 20:35

Label: Curvve Records
Format: Digital
Genre: House, Progressive

Continuing on from “Magic”, Vinny and Jaidene aim to continue the success after the first single. Bringing together remixes from top international DJs and Producers including Dave Aude and Saeed Younan it may do just that with some ranging sounds of house through to more progreessive orientated styles.

Starting with Saeed’s mix, he has developed a more slower bubbling atmospheric version that utlizes a wide array of sounds from house, techno, tribal and opts for a percussive based groove that gradually develops into a clattering end build up with eeire sounds and coool deep bass.

Dave Aude and Troia provide two versions which both use a progressive house styling and direction that suitably works well with the vocals provided and in their frist mix it gently floats along, whilst the mix two version changes the bass here and there and gives it a little more tougher spectrum for the floor.

Smartminds focuses on a more melodic house vibe with a subtle cool funky chunky house percussion but inserting the best bits fromt he original with a less hectic outing and ending and a little more gentler inclined.

Heartache finishes it all off with a very deep moody broody and dark, almost electro wavering sound. Really deep with the vocal use and taking a sinister edge it slowly kicks off and is more of a chunky set slewer with the approach.
