Sandy Vee

» Paranoid/ Schizophrenia

Reviewed by Greg Zizique / Submitted 26-03-09 21:00

Label: Cr2
Format: CD
Genre: House

One of the more modern and finest French producer’s current on the circuit, Sandy creates two prime examples of driving melodic musical based pieces with a deeply influenced drum machine an synth use laying down a deeply building foundation. An in demand sound has lead to a string of successful tracks and remixes for the likes of Prydz, Choo Choo Romero, Angelo, Ingrosso, Joia, Ministry Of Sound it’s a vast and fast growing list.

Paranoid has that essential Friday feel good warm uplifting progressive inclined but pumping spirited direction with cool slick bass and charges along the way of a deeper mood with analogue sounds and reverberations leading into very deeply touching breakdowns. Clashes, claps and delays slam into a more funky chunky paced beats that moves along at a great shimmering result for the feet on the floor.

Schizophrenia is destined to let rip, just from the track title you can tell that with a nagging line that introduces slamming darker vibes with haunting bass and drive that swishes the mood along well. Quite a long and peak time mover this one simply rocks a later set with deep touches and French Alan Braxe and Fred Falke touches running throughout that will win over fans at ease.
