Producing their second original single on Spin Out Records in the form of Beers & Berlin, and already picking up props from Bodzin, Mark Knight, Funkagenda, Tom Findlay, Timo Garcia and Nick Warren, Kamuki deliver an intelligent atmospheric and moody dark bass outing using elements from tech house, progressive and techno directions.
The Original mix uses a nice synth and a building lead line with a melodic synth later on after the breakdown. Their dub version opts for a bit of that Dubfire tip doing the rounds and headed right at the more techno sound. Subtle, stripped back and dark for the underground.
Workidz provides the first remix adding a late at night sound with peak time edge running through the whole track. With a steady drive and a thumping bass line using a tech house groove behind it leading into the stabs from the original it’s no messing.
Schitzengiggle finish off the remixes and slant the sound to a progressive arranged version, but adding a bit of tech house genres elements to the pot for a synthy, stabby and deep throbbing bass line until the tune rises and gains momentum with a sheer drop back in.
