Kid Sister

» Right Hand Hi

Reviewed by Greg Zizique / Submitted 06-11-09 12:12

Label: Asylum
Format: 12" Vinyl
Genre: House, Electro, Bassline

Hailing from Chicago, rapper Kid Sister is currently causing a big stir underground fusing electro, dubstep, and house beats. ‘Right Hand Hi’ has a host of mixes with Kim Fai and Riton leading the package.

Kim Fai produces a very cool slick bass jarring sound with a bouncy edge as well that pushes further with a tech house styling, but fresh breakdowns and nagging sounds is what takes it to the next level and makes it a peak time mover wherever played.

Riton’s ‘ReDub’ is simply huge bass moving and has an in your face attitude that relentlessly nags your brain with screechy sounds and effects and electro influenced dubby drums and beats that finish it off and make it severely cool, and incredibly infectious for the body to move too.
