Foggy Ray

» It Follows

Label: Pharmacy Music
Format: Digital
Genre: Trance

With Halloween approaching, it is time for Foggy Ray to re-emerge from the shadows with It Follows, a Gothic slice of psychedelia for your listening pleasure. After being featured on Pharmacy Volume Seven, mixed by Seven Ways, in the form of Eradication, and previous single release "Turing Test", Foggy delves once more into the nightmare world to unleash a dark beast. And again, with Halloween round the corner, its very, very apt.

Moving deftly between the worlds of psytrance and tech, it bridges the gap between the two and creates an unsettling, but satisfying, colossus of sound. There's only one mix on here and no radio edit so its straight into the action.

The bassline is unsettling as well as the samples but once it gets going, it never lets go for eight pulsating minutes. Its quite colossal to be honest with you and the beat section is deep so its not your typical psytrance beast and that, in a way, is a good thing. Get on this for your Halloween sets.

Devilish
